Leopard introduces some great parental controls for you to control how often and for how long your kids (or even big kids) have access to the computer. Check it out in System Preferences, Parental Controls. You will need to have administrator access (password) to enable the feature and make changes.

Choose an account to administer. The rest is self explanatory, use the check boxes and adjust times as desired. There are options to set how much time can be spent on the computer during weekdays, weekends, and you can even set “bedtimes” where the computer is inaccessible during a certain time period (lets say 8pm to 7am). Pretty neat!
