Another small but new feature of Snow Leopard is minimising open application windows to their respective ‘application icon’ in the dock (instead of a new icon on the right hand side of the dock). Not bad!

    And if you have minimised many windows to the icon, what is the process for getting back the one you want?

    To getting back to the window you want just click and hold on the dock icon and all windows of this app will be shown in small preview windows and you can select the one you want.

    Or you can do a ctrl-click/right-click and the contextual menu shows all the windows minimized in the application icon.
