On your MacBook, wherever you are in Leopard, you can zoom in/out your screen holding down Ctrl and using 2 fingers (one fixed on the touchpad and the other on moving around to zoom in and out).

This has been around since Tiger, maybe earlier. It is a great feature that I use often. Thanks for sharing.

You can also use the scroll button on the mouse (with control key) for the same effect.

@The Other Steve: The feature is enabled, and the modifier key set, in System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Trackpad. See the checkbox for “Zoom while holding.” (I use cmd instead of ctrl.) But note it works only up/down, not left/right (at least for me).
As a side note, Google Earth supports 2-finger zoom (both up/down and left/right) without a modifier key.

That is very cool! I find it a lot easier to hold the control key and using two fingers swipe diagonally across the touch pad. Thanks!
