Followup to myself: Not only can you deactivate the CMD-Esc Front Row hotkey by going to the Keyboard Shortcuts system pref but it is the very first entry in the list…

CMD-Esc worked in Tiger, as did the other key commands.

Actually, i’d like to deactivate the CMD-Esc command. Sometimes when I CMD-~ to switch windows I overshoot and hit escape than have to wait 10 seconds for Front Row to appear and then Esc out of it. I groan every time I do it. If anyone knows of a simple way to kill that command I’d appreciate the tip.

Hmm.. My bad. I do believe though that in Tiger, without the remote you can’t even start Front Row. Or there is no icon in the apps folder at least; you may still be able to start it with cmd + ESC.

Either way, it can be a handy tip.

You said Front Row now has keyboard commands, it has always had keyboard commands, even in Tiger.
