Does anyone know how to move a sticky across spaces? Or does anyone know of a sticky that would float across (stay on ) any space I went to. Sort of a multispace sticky? I often hop around the spaces to get things done and want to take info with me that I could put in the clipboard and make a new sticky where I went, but I want a multispace sticky.

This works with any widget, just the same. I enjoy the pong clock on my desk top.

@Sam: Those are two separate commands. Type the “defaults” command, hit return, then type “killall Dock” then return.

@conorjs1244: Nice trick. What did you mean by this: “*If you want the sticky back in your dashboard, click and drag, then open up dashboard using a function tree.”

I have no idea what you mean by “using a function tree”.

i typed that in the terminal just as it was, and i get this error “unexpected argument kill all: leaving defaults unchanged.
whats wrong.

So if I do this terminal hack can I have other widgets that are always visible on the desktop? (I’ve never messed with terminal but I have a particular widget that I would like to always be visible.)

The problem with using the stickies app. is that the stickies don’t actually stay on the desktop if you close the app…this is the same issue as not opening dashboard b/c you have to remember to open the app. Only thing with dashboard solves the issue.
