When browsing Safari, you can instantly scroll to the bottom (or top) of a page by holding down COMMAND and pressing the up or down key. Useful if you are browsing a long page.
Additionally, you can scroll in long increments by holding down OPTION and pressing the up or down key.

I believe this keyboard shortcut also worked in Tiger, Panther, and perhaps earlier versions of OS X. An oldie but a goodie!

Thanks, I am new to Mac. I am wondering why the computer didn’t come with a pamphlet that shows all the little tricks. They kinda left it to the Leopard user to explore and find out… (or maybe they wanted it that way!)… hummmmm

On a MacBook/MacBook Pro, you can use the Function button plus the up and down keys to scroll a page at a time. Works in a lot of other programs too.

Is there some place I can see or print all these keyboard shortcuts? How can we learn them if we don’t know they exist? HELP!

You can also use space bar or shift+space bar to scroll down or up a page at a time.
