Weird, I just realized that on my new MacBook (Santa Rosa), the button beside the right Command key is now the Alt Option key.

Command+Return works just fine here. Thanks for the tip!

On your beloved MacBook, the enter key sits to the right of the space bar, the return key at the very right of the keyboard. They have similar, but not identical functions.

WTF???

I have a macbook and i cant get this trick to work!
WhizzKids Response sounds jibberish to me. Thus the return-key equals the enter-key where i am from.

Make sure your Quick Look window is selected. This may require a click into it. And remember it’s command-return, not command-enter.

how do u get it to switch to index view? Neither the click nor the shortcut work for me.
