By now you’ve fiddled with the new “stacks” feature in your dock. It’s just so cool.

Did you know you can navigate a stack while it’s open with the arrow keys? You can even find a file in a stack by starting to type it’s filename.

Watch as the file changes colour as you navigate or type

It would be nice if someone finds a way to delete files right out of the stack.

E.g. if you dl a mp3, you doubleclick it in the stack, it’s automatical added to itunes and to itunes library. But now you still need to open the download folder to delete the original file. Very unapple.

I just took a look at this, and it appears you can drag it right from the stack to the Trash, it deletes fine too! Just click and drag them to the Trash to ditch them?

    Cheers

Is there any way to show the sub-folders in stacks as we did with Tiger? In stacks, my documents folder shows only the folders contained within that.

In case it hasn’t been discovered yet, when in a stack that appears in grid form you can move diagonally by hold down the top and one side arrow, and the same with the bottom arrow.
