Drag a file to an open application window Photobooth makes Animated GIFs

Nick over at macrumors offered me this spaces trick:

“While in the Spaces screen, holding down Shift while dragging a window to a different space will cause it to keep its position on the screen.”

I tried it, and it’s cool!

Nice one! Whilst doing this I also discovered that if you click and hold a window bar of any application and drag it either up, down, left or right of the screen (pending on what Space desktop you are in at the time) it will move it to the virtual desktop of that direction. Also neat when you quickly want to move a window to another desktop quickly.

I also noticed that when you press shift before you drag it takes all of the same Application windows with it. i.e. If there are 4 Finder windows in Space 1 shift-dragging will move all four as a group into the Space you choose. Cool right! Another interesting thing I learned. Expose works in the “birds-eye-view” mode as well. One small squeeze of my Mighty Mouse and all of my Spaces reveal every window. Too cool!

I also discovered another tip about spaces!!
    THE SLOW MOTION SPACES!!

It can be showed by slowly nice zoom out motion graphic from finder to spaces. Just press and hold shift and then press the icon’s spaces on the dock or the assigned button for spaces or press your favorite button to enter in spaces if you have it (I’ve assigned spaces to the central button on my mighty mouse) and boom……slow motion spaces.
It also works to get out from spaces to any desktop you choose.
