I was having a bit of a browse around when I came across this neat how-to for installing Leopard on an unsupported (older) Mac. It’s pretty neat. While I don’t have a use myself, it could be useful for those that want to play with Leopard on an older Mac.

Why would you want to do that? It would run way too slow.

I agree. I wouldn’t want to do it, but I guess if someone wanted to check out the OS then at least it’s possible. I have it running on my 1.8Ghz G5 iMac and it’s even slow on that! couldn’t imagine it on an unsupported machine!

well, for one I will, my mac has 800MHz, there is 886 needed, so i’ll give it a shot for sure!
