Ok, the prefs-file I was looking for is named com.apple.iphotomosaic.plist. This file represents the contents of iPhoto-library. You cannot build a mosaic with only fotos of a specific folder. I’m working on it….

I’m sure many users don’t know about this feature because many of them never used the slideshow as screensaver just like me. With the switch to leopard they don’t look for new features at something they never used. I would not go so far to say it’s one of the more heralded features of Leopard, I’ve never seen it on a mac OS X website. If you knew about it good for you if anybody seen this for the first time because of this post, good for him.

You can add every folder you like, the preinstalled Folders are no real folders they can be found as screensaverfiles at HD-System-library-screen saver

I believe you can select any folder on your filesystem as long as there’s photo’s in there
