Check this out. In Finder, when you want to rename a file you generally click to select the file, then click again to highlight the filename ready for renaming. Previously, this would highlight the entire filename, so if deleting or backspacing, you’d erase the whole file name including the extension.
In Leopard, when you do this, it highlights just the name of the file, not including the extension, making changing the filename, but not the extension really easy, check it out:

This is actually kinda annoying, since I often want to change file-extension. I also tend to do Enter+Copy in my sites-folder to then simply paste the filename in a browser (after my localhost).
Minor details of course, and I will probably love this new renaming thing after more than 2 hours with Leopard

Is there any way I can contact the admin of this site to send in tips?

Beakid, I noticed if I click on the filename multiple times after getting into highlight mode, I can select the entire filename including extension, I guess thats neat!
Steven, Indeed a “submit trick” feature needs to be added to the site! I’ll look into that! cheers

Also, once you’ve selected a file, you can just hit ‘enter’ and it goes straight to editing, without having to click it twice.
