New in the Address Book app is the ability to apply effects (like photobooth) to photo’s you drag onto your address book entries.

For example, when you drag a picture onto the address book entry you have the ability to click a small “swirl” style button (shown next to the button that looks like a camera) which prompts you for your effect style. Once selected, it applies! I chose the B&W effect for this example. There’s absolutely heaps of effects, more than in photobooth itself!

Hmm…… that’s odd that Apple didn’t put all those into Photo Booth. Especially since a lot of those are really cool.

Yeah i agree, they should be in photo booth.

I’ve been trying to replicate what you all are talking about to no avail. I can drag photos into the address book card. But, no where do I see a “swirl” button NOR a button that looks like a camera.
I tried out of iPhoto, plain photo files, and Bridge.
What am I missing in your explanation?
