In the Finder, in List view, you can navigate using the up/down arrow keys. Now that&#8217;s well known. If the selection highlights a folder, pressing the right arrow key expands the folder (same as clicking on the &#8220;open&#8221; triangle symbol on the left side of the folders name). </p>
<p>Pressing the left arrow key collapses the folder again. If the selection highlights a document in an expanded folder, pressing the left arrow key moves the selection up to the containing folder, which then can be collapsed by pressing the left arrow key a 2nd time.</p>

<p>This isn&#8217;t a leopard trick, but it&#8217;s a good one never the less, and I&#8217;m posting it because someone made comment that the site can be a little hard to read due to the text size. Not everyone has superman eye-sight!</p>
<p>So here it is. Whilst in Safari, press &#8220;cmd +&#8221;. Thats the Apple key, and the plus/equals key next to the &#8220;delete&#8221; key. Try it. Pressing the minus key &#8220;-&#8221; will decrease the text size.</p>
<p>I actually use this feature <a href="http://www.kitchenmac.com/" target="_blank">on my kitchen mac</a> when cooking off a recipe I&#8217;ve found on the internet. Easier to see when I&#8217;m on the other side of the kitchen! </p>
