When you place a bookmark in the bookmark toolbar in Safari, you can then access that bookmark using a numbered keyboard shortcut. So, reading the bookmarks from left to right, my first bookmark is YouTube and I can access it with Command (⌘)+1. I then have a few bookmark folders and the next bookmark is my online banking statement. I can check my balance any time by opening Safari and pushing Command (⌘)+2. …and so on.
This is especially useful for search bookmarks.

In the area at the top of itunes window that displays a track’s artist’s name/album when a track is playing can be set to display one or the other by clicking on it. If the display shows the artist name, clicking on it will display the album title and vice versa
* note from James, anyone got any other neat iTunes tricks?

With iPhoto open and active, click on the Time Machine icon on the dock, and you will be able to browse your backed up iPhoto photos! You can restore individual photos, albums, or restore the entire library. Backup source (ex. External Drive) must be mounted and available.

Screen sharing in Leopard is pretty neat. Screen sharing is nothing new, we’ve been doing it for years, one way or another. Leopard makes Screen sharing easy, but did you know there’s more to Leopards Screen sharing than available by default?
This clip on youtube demonstrates how you can use Screen Sharing as a stand-alone application and enable some hidden features to get the most out of the app.

Just a quick reminder that MacWorld 2008 takes place later this morning. For those of you looking for minute-by-minute coverage of the keynote, there are several choices. MacDailyNews has been a favorite in the past, and this year they are apparently using “Coverit Live,” which will apparently provide up-to-the-minute entries without the need of refreshing.
